DTV must have been under major pressure to get this thing to market because it was released way before it was ready. Glitches galore, freeze-ups, self-deleting recordings, video problems via HDMI, remote control functions randomly not working, etc etc.
DTV is going to start losing customers to cable pretty soon if they don't get the basics working consistently...
I'm not even sure it's all software. Something like not being able to handle real-time MP4 decoding could be a processor or memory problem, couldn't it?
