Just because a display device doesn't support the lower common HDTV resolution natively doesn't mean it is crap. That may your opinion, but that is all it means. Some people prefer the resolution of 1080 lines over 720 lines, and prefer 1920 pixels to 1280.

BTW, I could forward an equally singular opinion that if your display doesn't support RGBHV then your display is crap. Why would I want to be abused by allowing someone to feed me higher definition video with compressed color reolution that Component video affords? I am very disapointed with the PS3 and retured it yesterday. I now have the HD DVD player for the XBOX-360 and it looks amazing!!!

Don't waste your money on the PS3. No good launch titles and does not support most televsions. Not to mention it dosen’t even come with HDMI or Component cables. So much for an HD gaming system. Go figure. . .

I would like to see Sony take a major hit. This has been a hudge headache and major waste of time and money.
