Why won't they add an SD slot or USB port to their high-end player? They put them in their cheaper DV-970HD, but not this line. I have the DV971H and a 1080p display. I would upgrade to the DV-981HD if it included a media card slot and/or a USB port. But since it doesn't I'll be sticking with what I have.
I've heard talk within the AVS Forum of a DV-982HD taht would be coming out to "replace" the DV-970HD. It would be black, have the card slots and HDMI but not include Faroudja DCDi.
