"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
Great news. LyCoS is probably the best tech for HDTV's and the only one that seems to not have trade-offs (besides being slightly thicker than LCD's and Plasmas). Ever since I saw a Sony SXRD set I was in love, but I refuse to purchase a Sony TV. I told myself as soon as another well repsected and quality manufacturer makes a similar set, I'll look into it. Good thing. Under $1500? That's about 1/2 the price of the SXRD's. JVC makes the HD-ILA as well, but I'm looking forward to more LyCoS sets hitting the market. They beat DLP hands down and I personally don't like LCD (viewing angles annoy me) or Plasma (cost and pixel size).
