About a year ago, TWC used to be a great and inexpensive alternative to Satellite. Now the sats provide many, many more channels, and no matter how much I bug them they refuse to add any new channels. Now they add.... crap?

I suspect that SD on a HD channel (which they ALL do have) takes the same bandwidth as a real HD show as it is upconverted at the source.

PLUS, we first learned about the new HD channels because someone spotted a crawl on the weather channel. Someone now claims that same weather channel crawl is saying we'll get A&E HD.

BTW, the cable guys are NOT responsible for a lot of SD happening on HD channels, ya gotta complain to that channel, not TWC.]]>Dec 12th 2006 1:28PM
