Its just a cable, no TV's support any of those features yet and the PS3 can't do deep colour or any of the other things that HDMI 1.3 was designed for.

This is the first time I've seen people excited about a cable, not even a new type of cable but a new revision of a cable. Seriously HDMI and HDCP are a pain in the ass, I've lost count of the number of times I have seen HDMI devices lose handshake with displays, ending up with one or more reboots to get them friendly again.
