I actually bought a PS3 for Blu Ray playback. I am sure a lot of other people who enjoy the best possible high def format with the higher bitrates have done the same. Fact is Blu Ray can hold more information than HD DVD. Argue with facts if you want but the FACT will always be true. Utilizing the same VC-1 Codec on both systems but one has a higher bitrate, which one do you think will look better? It's amazing how many people can see around the truth for what they want to believe. These are the same type that fall for scams.
