XBox fans make a lot of noise. X3000/X5000 does not have any fans and makes no sound at all except the DVD drive. And XBox does not have an HDMI interface. Who wants to watch HD movies or upscaled movies without HDMI?

Very pricey when you can get a modded xbox with all those features and more for cheaper (although some HD won't play due to the slower proc)
It still upscales nicely and plays on my 43" 720p just fine :)
