can you guys explain how a 720p monitor also displays 1080i but cannot show 1920x720?
if 720p is 1280x720 and 1080i is 1920x540 then why can't I see 1920x720 progressive? I know 1920x720 is not 16:9 but more resolution seems to be possible but I can't understand why it would not work.
