"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
hd dvd players are PCs which are repacked to run movies, thats why they need fans and they are unreliable and poor quality.
Oh really? So since Sony's Playstation 3 needs two or three fans itself to keep cool [online info] this must mean the PS3 is "unreliable and poor quality" - yes?
And hey sport, HD-DVD players don't just "play movies", but also concerts, TV shows, and CDs (and MP3 CDs too!). Does Sony's new $1000 Blu-ray player offer CD playback? NOPE - what a joke, and a big WA$TE of money!
@dave
That was only the 1st model, and it wasn't as unreliable as its Sony or Samsung counterparts. Toshiba's 2nd model is not a repackaged PC.
