Hahaha, Fredster is an HD-DVD fanboy. Dude, this film will kill your system, don't worry. If you are so cheap to buy a Blu-ray player (or you burned the cash you got buy rushing into buying an HD-DVD player, as most of them), then buy a PS3. It's the best one out there yet the cheapest alternative. It also happens to play games, so you won't feel the burn of having bought an HD-DVD, much.
Yes Boots, i am a HD-DVD fanboy, i admit it. Marc T points out actually some of the reasons why i don't like Blu-Ray or Sony. And i haven't burned my cash on running into buying a system, as i do not yet own one! But it doesn't stop me from owning more HD-DVD's whether i have a player or not. If and when i buy a player, it will never be a PS3, as it's not a "real" player, it's just a cheap player with gaming possibilites. And why would this kill my system? If you read my first comment, i said that if they don't come as HD-DVD i'll go for DVD or wait till they get available as HD download. Now which part of that did you not understand, i'll be glad to go over it a third time if needed.
“Getting too close completely blurred what we saw to the point of incomprehension, but again, this shows a whole heap of potential that's fascinating to us.”
