I think you are the one with the head in your anus. Why would it be priced at $500 if the first gen BD players will probably be cheaper than that when it comes out? The $500 is regarding markets were a HD-DVD player might still be $500. When this hit's it will be cheaper than any HD-DVD player that's in the same market. The $500 is also an analysits guess...... Remeber how cheap asian players were going to be the final nail in the coffin for BD, it seems the shoe is on the other foot, and you guy's don't like the fit. BTW- It says they MIGHT produce a HD-DVD player, meaning IF HD-DVD can kick the lid off the coffin that is nailed down and dig their way out of a hole that is being filled in, they will produce a HD-DVD player. In other words, don't hold your breath.
