Loban...i somewhat agree with you. Kinda dumb on their part...woulda been a great competitor for plasma/lcd. from what i remember, only reason they it really hasn't come to market sooner was the price, but now that legal woes are being thrown into the mix...
well, lets just say plasmas are getting cheaper and cheaper every year, consuming less power, not burning in as easily as older generation models....and then you have lcds which are getting better and better at larger sized tvs, doing real blacks instead of dark grays, and getting cheaper too. by the time they get something out, it may be too late

And what about a SED display with real black and a 100.000:1 contrast ratio in 55" at the same prize of a last generation 42" plasma?
