if you dont HAVE to hang it on the wall, DLP is my favorite. I have a DLP in the media room, a plasma in the living room and an lcd in the bedroom. the dlp constantly gives me the best picture quality no matter what im doing with it! People get worried about telling their friends they just got a "plasma tv" when they could be telling their friends they just got the best picture possible.
