I returned it after a couple weeks. I can't believe Sharp didn't fix the problem with the new models. I recently got the TV on display @ my work, and the spot that i usually...stand and do nothing at...is about 5 feet from it. so i got curious, and started to adjust. I've always been somewhat good at adjusting TVs, not ISF good, but good enough, but i just could shake the banding in the screen, couldn't get rid of it. I'm glad it wasn't something w/ me.

SimbaDogg

Comments on Sharp LC-52D92U 1080p LCD reviewed

I got my LC-52D92U 3 weeks ago, It doesn't have any banding issues, I read alot of forums before getting it and alot of people mentioned banding with the 62U series. Image is nearly perfect - no banding that I can see. ALso, no difficulty with action scenes. Highly recommended. Note - direct comparison with Sony showed this screen superior. Only slightily less accurate than the Pioneer 1080p plasma (at $7500++)

J Purvis
