i myself wasn't too familiar w/ the banding issues, but i noticed something fishy was up w/ the 92. I recently got the TV on display @ my work, and the spot that i usually...stand and do nothing at...is about 5 feet from it. so i got curious, and started to adjust. I've always been somewhat good at adjusting TVs, not ISF good, but good enough, but i just could shake the banding in the screen, couldn't get rid of it. I'm glad it wasn't something w/ me.
