I use to work for CC. To be honest with you most consumers usually tend towards the LG. The Toshiba never really sold, Never in the 6months that I was at CC did I see the Toshiba sold. People like to play it safe when it comes to the format war. The LG is noticeably faster than the Toshiba and Samsung BR players. The LG definately sells. It was also hard to find for customers because they would sell out in stores. Also when customers ask what I would pick, I'm honest and tell them to go for a Playstation 3. Why not? The Sony 1st gen player goes for $1000 in the store. You get a gaming console for the kids or themselves plus a Blu-Ray Player. For all the people who are looking for best picture and sound yes I do explain HD-DVD is better but to be honest Blu-Ray seems to be a safer bet right now and not extreme difference in quality.
