The team is owned by the Japaneese and the games are broadcast in Japan in HD. A few years ago there were a few games here and there in HD and then nothing for the last few years. Here in Baltimore there's a new network (owned by the Orioles) called MASN which is analagous to the YES network in New York.  Unfortunately, even though Comcast had been broadcasting the Orioles home games in HDTV for the past several years, now that MASN is in charge they're not broadcasting any games in HDTV.
