If they release them all on Blu-Ray I might start watching them (after I find a reason to get a PS3). "according to a conversion with one of their press agents today..." Really, you converted one of their press agents and in the meantime talked about Blu-ray? "(Follows the life of post 9/11 firefighters & stares Denis Leary)" So post 9/11 firefighters look at Denis Leary intently for the whole show? Jezze that sounds pretty boring. An lastly, "will hit selves" so if I spend $80 to buy this, it's gonna hit me? Seriously, I can understand shortcuts, but simple spellcheck mistakes makes this look like a 5th grader wrote it, or you've been playing too much PS3 lately and haven't gotten enough sleep. Hopefully it's the latter.

-Brian

Brian Kaempen

Comments on Sony releasing Rescue Me: The Complete Third Season on BD-50 discs

I hate to break it to you, but there is nothing wrong with the grammar in that post. You found 3 words that were misused. They are all correctly spelled words in the english language so spell check wouldn't catch them. Regardless, I do not see why you needed to bash those mistakes in a blog posting. This isn't the WSJ, NYT, or even a high school newspaper. It is a blog. From what I gather you were just being an ignorant ass.

On topic:

This is awesome! F/X is one of the few stations I would kill to be in HD. Almost all of their original programming is fantastic. Judging by the 16x9 format they are displayed in (giving me black bars above and below the screen which does not make me happy) they are all filmed in HD.

David

Comments on Sony releasing Rescue Me: The Complete Third Season on BD-50 discs

"From what I gather you were just being an ignorant ass."

Pot, meet kettle.

Xyzzy

Comments on Sony releasing Rescue Me: The Complete Third Season on BD-50 discs

I might be an ass but I am not ignorant!

David

Comments on Sony releasing Rescue Me: The Complete Third Season on BD-50 discs

Does anyone know how many discs will be in the release? To me, that is a HUGE advantage when it comes to 'boxed sets' of movies or TV shows - instead of getting 8 DVDs for one season/series of MASH, Harry Potter, etc - it'd be a space/time saver to get one Blu-Ray HD disc! GREAT selling point. No need to change/swap out discs etc...

Wryker

Comments on Sony releasing Rescue Me: The Complete Third Season on BD-50 discs

Don't count on it. If you think people would pay $80 for one BD of content instead of 2 or 3, you've got another thing coming. If they used BD-25 instead of BD-50, people would think they are getting more just because of more discs even though the combined content will be the same.

James
