NY Time Warner Cable adds more HD stations

It looks like a great day for new HD stations. First, DirecTV adds four new local HD markets and now Time Warner is pumping up their New York City lineup with some quality stations. First up is My Network TV HD launching in the New York and New Jersey systems on channel 709. TWC customers in Staten Island will be getting three more high-def stations. MHD - 718, A&E HD - 746, Fox Sports New York HD - 748. It is always heartwarming to us when high-def stations launch in different markets and all we need now is new HD stations like Sci-Fi, FX, CNN, Cartoon network & [insert your fav channel here].
BOGUS!
First, it's 3 actual HD channels and a fourth one masquerading as one. The "MyNetwork" channel 709 is NOT HD, it's a plain and simple SD channel. AND it's PQ ranks at the bottom of the pile, I have MANY SD channels that have a better picture. It's transmitted as a 480 signal. AND it also means that an actual, real HD channel (UnHD) gets bumped from being in the middle of their HD channel listings to being after a bunch of SD channels
Mentioned but seemingly ignored... the 3 actual HD channels are ONLY available in one section of the city, not in the whole city. How would you feel if a few blocks away from where you live, they got 3 new HD channel's and not only do you NOT get them, you aren't even told why or when you might get them? Are you getting a rebate on your rate because you're not getting what those in the same city are getting?
I anxiously clicked on the link because I thought that finally we got a good channel, but my excitement lasted about 2 seconds. As riverside_guy pointed out, only the folks on Staten Island get the actual HD channels. No offence to Staten Island, but we New Yorkers don't even consider you part of our city. Second, the only good thing on MyNetwork TV is the Yankee games that are not shown on YESHD, which means we get one game per week on Fridays nights (and they are only in HD if it's home game!) Seriously, I cannot think of a more useless channel.
I've been asking to the National Georgrafic Channel in HD for months now, and we end up getting junk.

Keep emailing them with your concerns...I have been emailing them about their horrible HD programing for some time..I cant believe S! gets 3 channels and the rest of the city gets crap!
NGHD needs to come to Time Warner and where the hells is the HD PPV?!?!
At least the NYC guys get something. Our HD lineup in Binghamton (that's upstate NY) is anemic from TWC. We get a whopping 10 HD channels. I'm still waiting for YES HD, ESPN2HD, SNY HD, Universal HD and a few others.
