I like the music shows, but why not just show one a week and show...hmm I don't know MUSIC VIDEOS the rest of the time. Just doing that would create constantly updated evolving content for the channel, causing more people to tune in just as the original MTV gained viewers. There seem to be plenty of videos to show when I stay up and watch them late night. One night I had people over and it was great background music w/ HD video, who could ask for more!!

Will

Comments on MHD is great but....

I too looked forward to MHD. I was completely disappointed with the volume of original programming. Shows are repeated every few days at best. The late night music video segments repeat the same dozen or so videos each night. It isn't uncommon to see a video played twice within the same hour. A few of the videos are wide-screen but not high definition (ex. James Blunt's - High). MTV's commitment to HD content has been very disappointing.

Aaron

Comments on MHD is great but....

This channel is such a disappointment. Scrap it and get a real music/concert channel, or play more music videos.

Jean

Comments on MHD is great but....

Yeah I think they haven't gotten any new music videos on that channel for over a half of a year (possibly almost a year now) I used to like this channel when they had new music videos, but I haven't seen a new one in forever. Yeah you could definitely watch everything this channel has to offer in a week or less for sure.

Andy

Comments on MHD is great but....

I like the channel a lot. They do repeat stuff often, but I like having it to switch to while I'm watching something else during commercials...

My only major beef is that half the shows only have 2-ch. audio also. WTFM8? Why have a Hi-Def music channel with 2-ch audio??

walk2k

Comments on MHD is great but....

I notice many channels that do this.
