The EPA found that the percentage remained consistent from 1999-2005. Even as recycling rates went up, the amount of electronics reaching end of life outpaced the increase, leaving the figure static. (source: EPA, July 2008)

I always wondered about these artsy home decors like in the pic above. I mean their TV is just about at ground level, and its not even facing the sitting area. And whats with the ugly green polkadot carboard? Im confused
On a more related note, I hope to join the HDTV club in july when the samsung 81 series LCDs come out. But Im not American, so I wont count towards the %age
