Yeah 28% of TV households have a HDTV, a more interesting stat would be how many have actual HD content for this HDTV. My guess would be stupidly low, I love the idea of blowing $1,500 on a big HDTV only to watch 480i over composite (not even full 480i), I have seen this with my own eyes.
