The case doesn't even look that good. HTPC are moving in the wrong direction. They need to be moving towards smaller "peer to peer" devices that function well together. Sticking in a hot arse AMD proc and loads of RAM is silly. Give me a system where I have multiple STB units. Deliver a "Control" unit which contains a HD optical drive and is the master sync device. Then deliver "Satellite" stations that can go to every TV or even standalone.

That way with wireless tech you can developer a media network and not "center". You could stream audio/video to other centers in the home and each "node" could talk to other nodes.
