How can you even compare B&W with Ascend Acoustics and Wharfedale? You could possibly compare them to speakers like KEF and JM Lab/Focal, but get with it. But based off your comment, you're probably the guy that runs out and spends $3000-4000 on the best TV you can find and then you throw it together with a $200 Insignia 5.1 system from Best Buy and think that's the greatest ever. On your second question if this is even HD news... Yeah a HD picture is a thing of beauty, but it's only half the experience. B&W's signature line offers true HD sound quality. The last pair of B&W signatures I heard were the old Signature II series and they were incredible. Couple those to your HDTV and now you're talking. That's the experience true high definition is supposed to bring. But go ahead, Wharfedale and Ascend Acoustics need their ignorant customers to stay in business.

Justin
