Instead of offering free movies to get people off the fence, how about finalizing the Blu-Ray spec? People who buy these players are buying hardware that will become obsolete in October (funny, that's when the 5 free movies promo ends!). If you want Blu-Ray instead of HD DVD, that's fine, but please don't buy before they finalize the spec in October. You'll just be wasting your money.
(BTW -- Dave, does this mean that Blu-Ray is near death since they're giving away free movies? That's what you said when HD DVD players offered free movies).
