Why do people always bite on the irrelevant euro/dollar comparisons?
That would only apply if you order the thing overseas and had it shipped here (would the br part even have the right region then?) Regardless, the pricing is usually more 1:1 or cheaper for tech, cars, etc. on the US side of the pond.
a 15k euro car over there will probably be 15k bucks here. Now I'm guessing that player will be 900-1000 bucks, since the LG one was just a tad higher when it came out. With coming price reductions, probably around 800 bucks, though the sony people might be pissed that it's cheaper than their high end, and about equal to HD's high end.
