Perhaps he was simply trying to reassure content providers that Blu-ray's BD+ is more secure and it is what stands Blu-ray apart from HD-DVD, which has no secondary security measure outside of AACS; we know how those studios love them some DRM. But what a silly thing to say to the press; comments like this only invite attacks from hackers.
