of COURSE it runs cooler- it's not a DVR, so there's no hard drive. this really has nothing whatsoever to do with the HR20 or it's eventual replacement- the non-dvr version of the hr20 also runs much cooler than the hr20.
oops, should really read more carefully before posting. i read that first bit as being about the hr20, not the h20 . . . .Sorry!
