The war would be over if Fox and Disney went neutral too..so what. Just more desperate publicity to try and stop the steaming locamotive that is HD DVD this fall.
What steaming locomotive? Blu-ray discs have been outselling HD DVD fairly steadily for months, at about 2:1 ratio, or 2/3 of the market. And most of this years major blockbusters are from studios that release Blu-ray, and they'll be hitting shelves this fall.
Even with massive price cuts, HD DVD is getting whipped. And the price drop on the PS3 will probably help with that too - my PS3 arrived today, the primary use is for Blu-ray. And I'm getting six free BD movies to go with it. :-)
