I live in RI and I am rather upset I can't even get the FiOS since it is only available of the western potion of the state. I mean seriously It doesn't take that much work to fiber my state
Didn't Cox already wire up RI for fiber? I'm under the impression they have really fast pipes that are just throttled back - if that's the case, I can understand why Verizon isn't in a rush to compete.
Second, pretty funny to hear they've run fiber in the western part of the state - there's not a whole lot out there
