I received the upgrade the other day, and after playing with it for a few days I find it to be acceptable. It is certainly prettier that the previous interface, but there are several cases where one is required to arrow and click more than previously. Of particular note is the ability to customize the jump forward/backward time intervals (nice). Also, they moved closed captions to a menu item, rather than that silly: turn the box off, hold a button, turn the box on, change setting and turn off/on again. It would be nice if I could find a single button to toggle CC, but not yet.
