The 47" Philips 1080p, poor black levels though it has, is around about $2,000 most places, and the lower end LG 47LC7D is $2,200 so I don't see this as quite the price drop as other Vizio's.
I wouldn't be surprised is Sharp and Samsung (alright, maybe not the 5266, is within $500 of it by year's end.
If it drives the market down, I'll be more than happy.
