CW Network going all-HD next season, including WWE in January

We worried that The CW Network wouldn't be able to broadcast HD every night when it was originally announced, but it recently revealed that all of its dramas and comedies for the upcoming 2007-2008 season will be produced in high definition with surround sound. Unfortunately wrestling fans were left out of the party, but no longer, as PW Insider is reporting that SmackDown is finally going 1080i in January, following tests of HD technology by WWE over the last few months.

Now all they need is some content. I'm not complaining too much though since all HD channels by default I add to my favorite channels.

its great to see more channels going hd, since wwe has been testing out HD since last year, and are going this year, i guess that means USA will be HD this year (is usa already or not?) and prob scifi since wwe has a show on scifi using the ecw name of which they raped though :( but anyways the more HD the better. im planning on getting a 60 inch sony sxrd A3000 set

Good news EXCEPT for DirecTV subscribers. CW is one of those channels that doesn't seem to matter much to them as I have yet to see any HD talk about bringing them on board along with the other national feeds. What's the deal DTV?
