i didn't know which post to reply to, your first or your 2nd...but i picked this one cuz it looked a little odd. But anyways, yeah, you're 100% correct that consumers decide who wins. But uhh...last time that you wanted to buy some gasoline, did you brew it up in your sink? Your last show purchase, did you make them in your garage w/ supplies you had on hand? OF COURSE CONSUMERS WILL DECIDE. But where the hell are consumers supposed to get their goods at? Think about it, if some of the other top 5 electronics retailers in the US did the same thing as target, it'd make it pretty tough to get an hd-dvd player for some people (not everyone shops for goods and services on line contrary to what people may think).
