I'd probably by BSG - on Blu-ray. But I'm not going to invest in an HD DVD deck just for Universal's releases. I'm content to wait - a couple of years from now, if HD DVD isn't long dead, then I'll probably invest in it. For now Universal doesn't get my money - I expect them to go dual-format in 2008, and then they'll earn my money.
I could afford to add HD DVD to my setup - but it just isn't worth it to me just to get Universal's content. They have a few things I like, but not enough to justify investing in another format. I'm convinced HD DVD is going to die in 2008 - if I'm wrong, then I'll consider spending money on it.
