Let Engadget trick out your home theater

We want you to send in photos of your janky home theater setup (accompanying video is fine too), and maybe a word or two about what kind of crappy equipment you're still using, and why you think it's time for an upgrade. (Please try to keep it brief.) We'll select the home theater most in need of the Engadget touch, and then hook you up with the following gear:
- You pick: Pioneer Kuro PDP-4280HD 42-inch 8th gen plasma OR Sharp LC-46D62U 46-inch 1080p LCD and...
- TiVo HD
- Xbox 360 Elite + HD DVD player
- Sony PS3 (60GB)
- Logitech Harmony 550 universal remote
- Onkyo TX-SR805 receiver
- Onkyo SKS-HT740 7.1 speaker system
- Slingbox Pro (with HD adapter)
- ... and some cables to hook stuff up with

Update: We've got a winner -- Congrats, Samuel Goldstein!

Typically. Just for US residents. This sucks!
If you want to enter a contest in your country, find a gadget blog based in your country.
Until then, just shut up.
This sounds like fun.
To be fair, it is a US company sponsoring the deal. You've probably got better beer where you're from, so I'd have to think you've still got a pretty sweet deal.
This is so unfair. When you talk about contests, Puerto Rico is always void, we can never participate. But when you talk about war and needing soldiers, of course! Puerto Ricans, come here, we need some helpers in the field, you know how much we love you, don't you?
Effin' racists.
Dang, I would like to get my hands on that stuff!
Yes, Please!!!!
Engadget has the best contests

This is probably the best prize I've seen on this site
Wow, hopefully I can win this and retire my scary home theater system.
hey is this the right place for the draw?
awesome- I love Engadget HD!
what a ridiculous comment.
Engadget is read all over the world, which, as you may or may not know, consists of more than the Your Ass Aches.
To engadgethd staff: PLEASE mention somewhere at the top of the page that I and 90% of the world population can stop drooling before we've even started. It'd make our life so much more pleasant.
go to hell capitalist imperial lackey
Typical of the name Brigadier.
Pete C, if you bothered to click on the rules and actually read them, you'd see it state US Residents only! I copied and pasted from the rules so you wouldn't have to check, though you should to see for your self. Get a grip.

i want to win
You are such good philanthropists.
sweeeeeetah! me like.
such wonderful toys, wonderful toys to play with!
Aww come on. Why for US only. Many from other ciuntries want to enter just as much.
US only or worldwide ?
I really need a new set up. I have not had the newest TV or and kind of equipment that was up to date in my life. To have such equipment would change the way I view life literally. It all would be greatly appreciated and well used.
So I was reading the rules; Section 6 (Ghost in the Shell :P) on Judging "general shoddiness of entrant's home theater: 85%" And concluded very quickly that the entertainment system which I have has a 85% chance of being immediately rejected!
So I was wondering if Engadget would have a contest of the opposite of some sort?
Am I a winner?
give it to me
holy mother of skeletor!
need to win 1080p lcd my tv 10yrs old, thanks
OOOH...OOOH...Me...Me!!!
Yes please!
me please
OMG Engadget=
Agreed.
To find out whether people outside the US can enter or not (and, whether 'the General' believes so or not, there are quite a few of us read Engadget), you have to go into the full set of rules, which is kind of shoddy.
I realise there are constraints on who this prize can be offered to given the size of it, as well as the fact it's being sponsored by a US company but it seems like the decent (and clever) thing to do would be to make it clear that the rest of us can't enter.
I feel bad for ya, but you know I am sure that they have to for legality's sake!
Pick me! Pick me!
What I would do with a system like that. If you pick me I will hug it, pet it and call it "george". It will definitely get used and appreciated.
Stoney
PLEEEEEASE i SO need all this stuff
and by need i mean need because i might just die without it
