HD-DVD get MAYBE!! one headline a week and Blu-ray get two or more.

I don't own a player yet so, someone please explain what advantage HD-DVD has over Blu-ray right now I going for Blu-ray. What proven facts can you provide? And don't use the import advantage unless you can prove everyone who own a HD-DVD player buys and not rents thier movies. If Blu-ray supporters can't count the PS3 then imports shouldn't count ethier. Rent is a hugh market so you need to take that in consideration.

reddplague

Comments on Disney shows off Cars' interactive features in trailer

"They forgot to mention that this feature won't work on any of the existing player or players sold before end of this year, unless you have $2000 Denon Blu-Ray player. That will come on next year's Chronicles of Narnia release, as was announced earlier this week. PS3 certainly has the hardware for 1.1, so a software update should be all it needs.

"Well if this one works "as well as" Pirates of The Carribean Liar's Dice, blocking a player for a few minutes, then constantly looping and freezing, then thanks but I'll pass."

Sounds like someone didn't update their firmware. It's purely speculation and I would assume that it might be a problem as they would already announce it. PS3 doesn't have a secondary video decoder, however it has enough processing power to do it through software. Whether it will do it not, is really something that nobody can answer at this moment.

Nfinity

Comments on Disney shows off Cars' interactive features in trailer

Cause Sony has announced any of the updates more than a few days before release.

nin

Comments on Disney shows off Cars' interactive features in trailer

No, no it is NOT.
