Making good on a promise made earlier this year,
Sony has apparently made available a duo of cheaper, smaller LCDs to discount retailer
Target as it attempts to cater to a different sect of customers. Reportedly, the 26- and 32-inch 720p
Bravias won't be available in Target B&M locations until next month, but both sets are showing up on Target's website right now. Also, we should see a similar infiltration into
Wal-Mart and possibly a few other big box retailers in the coming months, but those looking to snag a Sony LCD on the (comparatively) cheap can head on over to Target's virtual storefront and procure the 32-inch KDL32ML130 for $899.99 or the slightly smaller KDL26ML130 for a Benjamin less.

The price point isn't any lower though- see the KDL-32M3000 and the KDL-26M3000 on Sony's site for the same prices!
Jeez...with the way you guys worship Sony, you'd think they were the only CE manufacturer in the world. Everything Sony Sony Sony.
$100 difference? Who wouldn't pay $100 for 6 mor inches?
@Mike-
"Who wouldn't pay $100 for 6 mor inches?"
That sounds like an email I got a few days ago...
Is anyone else tired of these so called discount stores selling premium brand products for LIST price? If I wanted to buy a Sony Bravia I can go to any boutique store, pay the damn list price, and get a heck of a lot better customer service than I could in the discount chain.
I think I first started noticing this trend with Monster and places like Best Buy and Wal-Mart. How can it be a 'best' buy if I am paying the same damn price I'd pay in the most expensive boutique shop on the planet? And even Wally World can't deviate but pennies on the control monster has.
Sorry, I go to discount stores for a discount, not to pay full damn price on major labels.
