Except I think the issue is the HUGE amount of mpeg2 hardware already in service at the customers premises. It matters not a bit (to us) about how the signal gets TO the cable company, right now they have to end up sending MPEG 2 to customers! If they got feeds in mpeg4, they have to convert to 2 so we can actually see it!
