I can't wait to see this in person at Digital Life. Assuming it's the format agnostic "apple TV" that's been promised, I think it could really take off. If it plays HD w/ 5.1, this could be a very nice Blu-ray/HD-dvd alternative, and prompt the beginning of a viable HD downloadable market. If they put it out for $250 or less, I'll probably have one by year's end.
