I don't see the point in purchasing a cartoon in HD at all. Transformers I would buy in HD, but as for this it's DVD for me. I liked the movie (1 & 2 were better), but not worth 25-30 price tag or switching to HD-DVD from BLU-RAY!
Transformers, maybe....but nahh I'll just let my PS3 upscale it.
It's not like a simple cartoon though. There is a lot of texture in Shrek and many other 3D animated theatrical films that would look a lot better than on DVD. Shark Tale and Finding Nemo were aired in HD a few months ago on ABC and such, and they looked fantastic, there's no comparison.

That's too bad. I bought the 360 add-on just for that movie, that and I got it used and cheap. It's a fine addition to play along with my PS3.

Yeah, that movie isn't going to be on Blu-ray Disc either. Old School comes out on HD DVD on November 27th. Anchorman, too, same day.
