david: "I agree, what cartoon would look better in HD?"
Victor Cook said at Comic-Con that Spectacular Spider-man will be in HD when it comes out on KidsWB (or whatever) in March. He didn't elaborate, so I don't know if that means it'll also be in permanent widescreen, a la Justice League Unlimited. I personally think that series would also be served well with a 5.1 mix. But you're right in that current cartoons won't see an improvement in HD (just look at Family Guy on Fox or Legion of Superheroes on CW). If Spidey gets the full HD treatment, I think it'd be a first for an American animated TV series--and we can only guess what that'll look like.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
