Actually, after not being able to get help the first day she was there, it was the next business day that she came back with the hammer. Basically, on the first day, she politely waited for a manager that ended up leaving for the day before anyone said anything to her.
It's the kind of thing that makes me wish I had options for smaller operators. And maybe some actual competition, they have a goverment-sponsored monopoly on their connection type. A new company coming in has to have a totally new link-type in order to be allowed in, that's partly why FIOS is being used. Sadly, the biggest operator of FIOS is Verizon. No thanks.
