Wal-Mart more cheap HDTV's than just the Vizio so I don't think they'll need to lower the price on this any further to move these. A $799-999 HDTV plus a $198 HD DVD player gets you HD movies for $1200 or less. You're not likely to be able to get that at a big box retailer.
I hope the BDA has a plan for a similar offering soon. Otherwise, this format war is about to take an extreme shift this holiday.
