this still is a pretty slimy thing to do, they can't even fess up about the ability of gen-1 and -2 players to be upgraded? Anyone that has any awareness of the whole 1.0/1.1/2.0 mess should be DAMN wary of buying in to blu-ray, what else are they going to change (obsolete) in 6 months? 1 year?
