It amazes me how much misconception there is out there about plasma TV's. I have Panasonic's TH-42PX600U, and I couldn't be happier. Burn-in is not a problem...just turn the damn thing off when you're not using it. Those who believe videogames will ruin plasmas are either ignorant or they're idiots. Even when displaying the same thing for hours, you might see an after-image, and that after-image might even last a day or two, but after that it's gone.
The positives of plasma TV's are just too great to ignore: better contrast, better handling of motion, cheaper cost per square inch, and just plain better picture quality. LCD's are better for the computer.
