"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
Hope they don't exspect many to believe them. When the xbox 360 was about to come out Sony kept pushing the PS3 date back...1st it was going to come out Christmas 05 then winter 06 then spring..anything to get people not to buy the 360 and wait for the ps3 cause it was only a couple more months away...then it came out a year later.
For you travlers...sony is like an airline...yes sir the flight is still scheduled to be on time. Passenger, "but we are scheduled to leave in 10 min and the aircraft isn't here yet" Then at 5 till the airline delays the flight 10 min...then in 10 min..they delay another 10 min....etc
I will believe the low price when it is here.
People talk like Sony is the only airline though. Every other manufacturer but Toshiba is making BRD, but for some reason people think Sony controls all the other company price points. They all seem to have their heads up their asses though. They have to hit $199 to move units faster, and "they" meaning all the manufacturers (except Sony-san, who has their snobby head up their ass).
Oh, and I have a PS3 and I use it mainly for BRD, my kids use it for games. I also have a HD-DVD player for the bedroom for upconverting regular DVDs ($99 was hard to beat :-) )
