Just got the order placed: Phone: Freedom Essentials (unlimited LD, etc.) Internet: 5Mbit TV: standard 200 channels, HBO, Showtime, Stars, Flix, Sundance Set-top equipment: 2 cable cards (HD Tivo), 1 Verizon HD-DVR, 2 standard boxes
Price: 149/month Savings vs. Comcast: at least $50/month, plus I'm getting more channels (all of my TVs get all the channels, whereas with Comcast I was only pushing the full lot to the HD set, trying to save money). I also get faster internet vs. my current 3Mbit DSL. I bet it won't take 2 hours to install 2 cable cards, either.
I live in Peters Township near Hidden Valley Rd and although I know my street was due to get FiOS near end of 2007, it hasn't happened yet and I was wondering where you live and if you know anything about next areas or streets.
