I'm looking forward to the new Beeb HD channel, I just hope they show some ambition and keep the quality high (the talk of a 'mixed-genre' could be something of a warning, lol).
The BBC's present BBC HD 'trial' channel is, IMO, usually excellent (if short on hours broadcast per day) and it is one of the best HD channels we have (they are consistently one of the highest bit-rate high def broadcasters we get in the UK on satellite or cable).
Pity that high def freeview is to be delayed but as I have Sky HD I'm not bothered personally speaking.
